Baywood Famous is a high-energy reggae rock roots band carving out a distinct sound straight from the coastal shores of Los Osos, California. Founded in 2019 by frontman and songwriter Shawn Ellis, the band blends the laid-back rhythms of traditional roots reggae with the driving energy of modern rock and the warm, melodic vibes of Hawaiian reggae.

Shawn is joined on stage by his lifelong friend Kameron Alton, who holds down the low end with deep, melodic basslines. Completing the powerhouse rhythm section is longtime friend Luis Monge, whose steady, dynamic drumming drives the band’s infectious, danceable grooves.
